Teen Injured in Rollover Crash in Rockland Township

ROCKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, around 9:47 p.m. on June 20, a one-car accident occurred on Coal City Road, 115 east of Jordan Hill Road, in Rockland Township, Venango County.

Police say 18-year-old Susan A. Sheatz, of Seneca, was traveling east on Coal City Road in a 1995 Buick Reagle.

Sheatz was negotiating a series of curves in the roadway when she saw a deer on the road and swerved to miss it. Her car struck a tree and then rolled onto its roof, according to police.

Sheatz suffered minor injuries.

Community Ambulance Service transported her to UPMC Northwest.

She was using a seat belt.

The car was towed by Venango Towing and Recovery.

Rockland and Seneca Fire Rescue also responded to the scene.
