Terrance MeadeTerrance Lee Meade, 68, of 9156 US 322, Cranberry, died Monday, January 2, 2017, at his home.

Born August 19, 1948 in Oil City, he was a son of the late Harold L. and Marion J. Perry Meade.

Terry graduated from Cranberry High School in 1966 and attended Penn State Behrend for 2 years.

He worked as a draftsman and at UCIP in maintenance.

He served from 1968 to 1974 in the PA National Guard.

Terry was a member of the Thunderbirds Drum & Bugle Corp., the Twin-City Imperials Drum & Bugle Corp, and the Pittsburgh Rockets Drum & Bugle Corp.

He enjoyed beef farming and had a love of animals, especially cats.

Terry was a past member of the Seneca Volunteer Fire Department.

He was previously married to Joyce Felmlee.

Surviving are his loving companion, Maude Clark of Van; step children, Don (Nancy) Clark, and Mike (Jessica) Clark; and step grandchildren, Chase and Cameron Clark.

Also surviving are his two brothers, Duane Meade and wife Sandy, and Larry Meade and wife Diane, all of Seneca; two nieces, Beth (Mike) Stanish and Betsy (John) Warner all of Oil City; and a nephew, Chad (Christy) Meade of Pittsburgh.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Eric Meade.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm, and on Friday from noon to 1 pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 pm with the Rev. Dr. Darrell Knopp, officiating.

The family would like to thank the Cranberry Class of 1966 for their outstanding compassion and generosity.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Venango County Humane Society, the Seneca Volunteer Fire Department or the Venango VNA Foundation.
