Dennis and Dawn have been members of the Board of Directors since the organization’s inception and have helped grow the organization into what it has become today.

The Arc of Clarion and Venango Counties, founded in 2003, has become a premier provider of services to families and people who experience developmental disabilities in Clarion and Venango Counties. Aside from providing services to individuals and families, the agency has another, but equally important mission, and that is to provide advocacy for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc of Clarion and Venango Counties promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

Board member and Clarion Mayor Dan Parker officiated the dedication and spoke to members about the continued success of the organization at a dedication ceremony on May 22.

The Kidney Building located at 1064 E. Main St. will serve as the agency’s headquarters.
