Thelma C. Taylor

1617898_profile_pic[1]Thelma C. Taylor passed away on June 27, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Clarion. She was 93 years of age.

Born on March 16, 1922, in Strattanville, she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl (Shingledecker) Fike. She was married to Ernest C. Taylor, who has preceded her in death. Thelma was a homemaker and a member of the Free Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Charles H. Taylor, and wife, Nancy, of Miola, three grandchildren; Richard Taylor of Clarion, Janice Taylor and her husband Rodney Kuhn of Fairmont WV, and Timothy Taylor of Erie, and one great-grandchild, Kaleena Kuhn. She is also survived by a brother, Allen Fike of Clarion, and two sisters; Donna Ganoe of Fisher, and Sally Coull of Strattanville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters; Joyce and Nancy, a son, Ernest C. Taylor Jr, two sisters; Dorothy Neiswonger and Vivian Ambrose, one brother, Billy Fike, and one grandson, Wesley Taylor.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Monday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with Pastor Carol Brown of the MCM United Methodist Church Co-Op officiating. Interment will be in the Clarion Cemetery.
