Thelma Louise Kammerdeiner Botzer, age 89, of Strattanville, peacefully passed away to meet her Savior on August 18, 2012 from the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo.

Born on October 9, 1922, in Churchville, she was the daughter of Walter Amos and Nellie Ruth Eaker Kammerdeiner.

She was married on June 6, 1942 to her beloved husband Glenn L. Botzer, who preceded her in
death on August 26, 1991.

Louise was first and foremost a Christian wife and mother. She enjoyed her church and during her lifetime served in many capacities in church work. She was a member of the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church of 77 Timber Ridge Road, Clarion. Her hobbies included caring for her pets, cooking, cleaning, reading, and flower gardening.

Before retiring, Louise was a custodian at the Sligo Elementary School.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Peggy, and her son-in-law David Corte of Strattanville. Also surviving are her two sisters, Joan Peters of Sligo, and Martha Kammerdeiner of Mars, as well as a brother-in-law, James Gathers of Clarion. In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews and her church family.

In addition to her parents, four sisters and one brother are deceased: Francis Hindman, Beatrice Myers, Mildred Botzer, Emma Jean Gathers, and Donald Kammerdeiner.

The family will receive friend at the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm with the funeral services being held on Wednesday at 11:00am in the funeral home by Pastor Rick Jefferson of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Cedarview Memorial Park, Strattanville.
