Threats Made Against State Employee in Franklin

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police are investigating terroristic threats made against a state employee in Franklin, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police recently initiated an investigation into terroristic threats toward a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania employee that occurred between 1:46 p.m. on Friday, February 22, and 4:38 p.m. on Monday, February 25.

Police say similar threats have been made by multiple individuals across the United States by telephone; however, the identity and whereabouts of the individual(s) have not yet been determined.

No further information has been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
