ERIE, Pa. — District 10 released its baseball playoff brackets Wednesday, and three area teams will compete for District 10 title.

Rocky Grove, the 2016 D10 Class 1A champion, is in the 2A bracket this year. The Orioles have a first-round bye and will play the winner of Maplewood and Union City Monday at a site and time to be determined.

In Class 3A, Franklin has a bye and will take on Mercyhurst Prep Tuesday at a site and time to be determined. Mercyhurst Prep would have played Seneca but Seneca opted out of the playoffs. The winner of the Franklin/Mercyhurst Prep game will face either Girard or Sharpsville in the semifinals May 26.

Oil City is in Class 4A, and the Oilers will take on Ft. LeBoeuf in the opening round Saturday with the winner facing Slippery Rock Wednesday.
