Three Busted for Allegedly Dealing Heroin in Oil City; More Arrests Expected

OIL CITY, PA. (EYT) — The Oil City Police Department has arrested three people in connection with the distribution of heroin in the city.

Around 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, Oil City Police arrested 26-year-old Shalesha N. Kinney and 30-year-old Alek Tarr, both of 772 Colbert Avenue, and 20-year-old Deshaun D. Scott, of Braddock, Pa., for allegedly dealing Heroin out of the apartment on Colbert Avenue, according to police.

All three individuals have been charged with felony counts of the following offenses:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin
  • Criminal Conspiracy to Deliver Heroin
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Criminal Use of a Communication Facility

They were arraigned by District judge Fish and were placed in the Venango County Jail in lieu of bail as follows:

– Kinney and Tarr — $25,000.00 bail each
– Scott — $35,000.00 bail

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for all three individuals at 8:30 a.m. on September 14.

The Oil City Police Department expects to make other arrests in the investigation.
