Three Franklin Residents Facing Assault Charges Following Scuffle on Atlantic Avenue

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – Police say three individuals are facing charges after a fight between neighbors turned physical.

According to police, around 6:16 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Atlantic Avenue for a report of a fight between neighbors.

Police say upon their arrival at the scene, the officers observed injuries to two of the individuals involved, Lacy VanWormer and Joanne Cochenour. VanWormer had lacerations to her hand from Robert Benson, and bruising on her neck from Cochenour. Couchenour had injuries to her face.

According to police, all three individuals were charged with assault and Cochenour and Benson were arrested at the scene for parole violations.
