CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, around 2:22 p.m. on October 1, a three-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 322, west of Whipperwill Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say 77-year-old William Yarham, of Knox, 64-year-old John E. Barrett, of Cranberry, and 67-year-old Lawrence A. Milford, of Knox, were involved in the collision.

According to police, Yarham, Barrett, and Milford were traveling west on SR 322. Barrett’s 2012 Dodge Caravan and Milford’s 2012 GMC Acadia were stopped in the traffic lane due to a backlog.

Yarham’s 2014 Dodge Journey did not stop and struck the Dodge Caravan. The Dodge was pushed forward and struck the GMC, police say.

Yarham suffered injuries of unknown severity. Community Ambulance transported him to UPMC Northwest.

Barrett also suffered injuries of unknown severity and was transported to UPMC Northwest. Two minor male passengers in his vehicle, ages 7 and 8, were also transported to the medical facility. Their injuries are unknown, according to police.

Milford and two passengers — 70-year-old Karolyn Milford and 51-year-old Michele Allmendinger, both of Knox — were not injured.

All occupants were using seat belts.

Yarham was charged with a traffic violation, police say.
