Park struck out eight and walked only one while needing 71 pitches to get through his five innings to get the win. He was also 2-for-3 at the plate with a double.

Dane Lyle chipped in three RBIs for the Raiders going 2-for-3, while Chase Palmer was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Seth Dunkle 1-for-3 with three runs scored.

Sawyer Manning and Colby Rybath had the hits for Oil City.

A-C VALLEY 12, UNION 8

RIMERSBURG, Pa. — A five-run fifth innings helped visiting A-C Valley claim a 12-8 win over Union.

Luke Whitcomb had a bases-loaded, bases-clearing double in the fifth for the Falcons to give them a 10-8 lead after Matt Thompson’s two-run single had brought A-C Valley within a run, 8-7.

Thompson also added a triple and was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Whitcomb was 2-for-4 with a walk and three RBIs, Lucas Larimore was 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored, Tony Thompson was 2-for-5 with a run scored, Jeff Ginn added a hit, two walks and two RBIs and Riley Bauer was 2-for-5 with a run scored and two RBIs.

Whitcomb got the win going five innings allowing eight runs, seven earned, on nine hits and four walks while striking out three. Broc Weigle threw two scoreless innings of relief walking and striking out six.

Lucas Bowser and Luke Salvo both had doubles for Union with Salvo also walking and driving in three runs and Bower driving in one.

Reice Saylor was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored for the Golden Knights with Karter Vogle going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and Isaac Yoder 1-for-2 with two walks, two runs scored and an RBI.

Saylor took the loss going 4 ⅔ innings allowing 10 runs, nine earned, on 12 hits and three walks while striking out seven.

REDBANK VALLEY SWEEPS KEYSTONE

HAWTHORN, Pa. — Redbank Valley swept a doubleheader from visiting Keystone winning the first game 16-11 and the second game 6-3 in a game called after six innings because of darkness.

IN the first game, Kobe Bonanno and Jimmy Gundlach each drove in four runs with Logan Wadding driving in three.

Bonanno was 3-for-3 with a double, a walk and four runs scored with Gundlach going 1-for-4.

Bryan Layton added a pair of doubles for the Bulldogs while going 3-for-3 with two walks and four runs scored, Grayson Harman was 2-for-3 with two walks, three runs scored and an RBI, Logan Wadding was 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs and Nick Smith was 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored.

Tyler Elder paced Keystone going 2-for-5 with a double and four RBIs. Logan Sell was 2-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and three runs scored and Corey Rapp was 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, three runs scored and three RBIs.

Redbank Valley used four pitchers in the win.

Harmon pitched two scoreless striking out two. Smith was tagged for eight runs, one earned, on five hits and four walks while striking out two in 2 ⅔ innings. Bonanno went two innings allowing three runs on a hit and four walks while striking out four and Blaney Brooks worked a ⅓ of an inning striking out one.

Andrew Lauer took the loss allowing 10 runs, four earned, on six hits and four walks while striking out one in two innings of work.

Brooks pitched well in the second game for Redbank Valley throwing a six-inning complete game allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six.

Harman was the offensive hero going 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and five RBIs. Smith was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs scored.

Dawson Steele was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for Keystone.

Troy Johnson took the loss going three innings allowing five runs, two earned, on three hits and two walks while striking out three.
