Timothy PadenTimothy Edward Paden, 57 of Franklin passed away early Thursday morning January 5, 2017 at his residence after a nine year courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Franklin on November 8, 1959 he was a son of the late Joseph Paden and Mina Scrivens Paden White. His father died at a young age and he was raised by his step father, John White.

Tim was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School. He worked for nearly 30 years at Titusville Fabrication as a Maintenance Supervisor.

Tim had a passion for riding motorcycles and doing anything outside. He was known as “Mr. Fix it” to family and friends who often said “If Tim can’t fix it, no one can.” He was always busy working on various projects.

He was a member and enjoyed going to the Franklin V.F.W, Moose Club and Eagles Club. Above all, Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving is a daughter; Samantha Carlson and her husband Chuck of New Bern, NC; two granddaughters, Olivia and Alexa Carlson; his lifelong companion and best friend, Cynthia Paden; two sisters, Dorothy Huber of Franklin and Jean Gantt and her husband George of Alabama; and two brothers, John Paden and his wife Jan of Cochranton and Frank Paden of Frenchtown.

Additionally surviving are four step children; Dan Baker and his wife Amanda of Franklin, Scott Weaver and his wife Christine of Franklin, Carrie Weaver of Franklin and Jason Weaver and his wife Jessica of West Virginia; six step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl A. Baker; a brother, Joseph A. Paden Jr; and his step father, John White.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
