Timothy Wayne Sharrar

Timothy Wayne Sharrar, 51, of Cranberry, died unexpectedly of natural causes, Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his home.

Born August 1, 1966 in Oil City, he was a son of the late Robert E. and Mary Jane Burgess Sharrar.

Tim was a 1986 graduate of Cranberry High School.

He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Fertigs.

Mr. Sharrar worked as a school bus driver for the Cranberry Area School District, Cranberry Bus Company, and the Oil City Area School District. He also worked as a laborer for the Seneca Hardwood Lumber Company.

Tim had been a member of the Pinegrove Volunteer Fire Department where he served as a firefighter and fire police.

On August 12, 1995, he was married to the former Darlene M. Perry who survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a special nephew, Trevor Sharrar of Cranberry; two brothers, Clinton Sharrar and his wife Margaret of Seneca and Bruce Sharrar and his special friend Robin of Bruin; two sisters, Dawnieta Myers and her husband Jim of Grove City and Areta Ewing and her husband Melvin of Franklin; and a brother-in-law, Russell Perry and his wife Cassandra of Seneca.

Also surviving are four nephews, Ryan Sharrar of Seneca, John Sharrar and his wife Joanne of Oil City, and Austin and J.J. Perry, both of Seneca; four nieces, Amber Stumpner and her husband Rod of Venus, Kayla Sharrar and her fiancé Spencer of Seneca, and Desirea and Hailey Perry, both of Seneca; three great-nieces and nephews, Cheyanne, Savanna, and Bentley; and his mother-in-law, Winifred Perry of Cranberry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Sharrar, a sister-in-law, Stacy Sharrar, and his father-in-law, Eugene Perry.

There will be no visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Fertigs, with the Rev. Jimmie Turner, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Heckathorn Cemetery.

The Morrison Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
