Tionesta Man Crashes into Wooden Fence Along Route 66

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a one-vehicle crash occurred around 3:43 p.m. on October 27 in Clarion Township, Clarion County.

Police say the crash occurred as David E. Smith, 55, of Tionesta, was traveling north on SR-66 north of Eberline Road.

Smith’s 2008 Toyota allegedly traveled off the east side of the roadway and impacted a wooden fence, then continued north on SR-66.

According to police, Smith was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and escaped injury.

Smith was cited with a traffic violation.
