Tionesta Man Sentenced to House Arrest for Indecent Assault

mark-deloeCLARION, Pa. (EYT) – A Tionesta man was recently sentenced to house arrest after pleading guilty to Indecent Assault stemming from an incident that occurred in Washington Township, Clarion County.

According to court documents, Mark Daniel Deloe, of Tionesta, was sentenced to six months of house arrest with electronic monitoring followed by 18 months of probation following an incident that occurred on November 12, 2015, on Amsler Lane, in Washington Township, Clarion County.

In addition to the house arrest and probation, Deloe must also register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law, complete sex offender and domestic violence counseling, perform 100 hours of community service, and install a landline in his home for use with the electronic monitoring. He also must abstain from the use of alcohol and illegal drugs.

Deloe is also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution and supervision fee.

According to a criminal complaint, on November 12, 2015, Marienville-based State Police arrested Deloe on three felony charges that included Rape, Aggravated Indecent Assault, and Criminal Attempt-Aggravated Indecent Assault.

He took a plea deal on May 20 pleading guilty to one count of Indecent Assault Forcible Compulsion, a first-degree misdemeanor.

He could have faced up to five years in prison.
