Tionesta Woman Injured in Rollover Crash in Green Township

GREEN TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State police say a one-vehicle crash occurred on Christmas Eve, in Green Township, Forest County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, this accident occurred around 10:58 p.m. on December 24, on Golinza Road (State Route 3004) in Green Township.

Police say 33-year-old Jennifer M. Hilyer, of Tionesta, was traveling west on Golinza Road and lost control of her 2010 Chevrolet Equinox. The vehicle spun 180 degrees and then struck a guide rail and overturned off the roadway.

Hilyer suffered minor injuries and was evaluated and released at the scene by Clarion EMS. She was not using a seat belt.

A nine-year-old female passenger in Hilyer’s vehicle was not injured. She was using a seat belt.

Marienville Fire Department assisted at the scene.

PennDOT was notified of the road conditions.
