TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Marienville say a 70-year-old Tionesta woman has been scammed out of over $1,000.

According to Tpr. Wissinger, unknown person(s) hacked into the woman’s computer and then instructed her to provide her debit card information in order for them to fix it.

The charges totaled over $1,000.

The case remains under investigation.
