Titusville Couple Escape Injuries in Route 36 Crash

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) — No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday afternoon on Route 36 in Barnett Township, Jefferson County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, around 4:29 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 83-year-old Richard Roeder, of Titusville, was driving a Lincoln MK7 north on Route 36 when he turned left in front of a 2011 Jeep Wrangler driven by 47-year-old Shelby Geer, of Brookville.

The Wrangler hit the Lincoln in the right rear.

Roeder, and a passenger in his vehicle, 77-year-old Nancy Roeder, of Titusville, were wearing seat belts and weren’t injured.

Geer, 28-year-old Danielle Wilfong, of Summerville, 25-year-old Dylan Greeley, of Brookville, and 25-year-old Ashley Allshouse, of Brookville, were all wearing seat belts and were not injured.

Richard Roeder was charged with a traffic violation.
