Titusville Police Department Goes Viral with Lip-Sync Challenge Video

| August 11, 2018

TITUSVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Titusville Police Department just raised the bar on police lip-sync videos with their rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”.

For a rural Pennsylvania town of just over 5,000 people, Titusville made a splash online this week after the Titusville Police Department’s lip sync video went viral.

The small, ten-person department recruited local volunteers from the area to put together a near shot-by-shot recreation of Jackson’s original music video for the song.

The video was posted to the department Facebook page around noon on Wednesday and began getting reactions immediately. Within 48 hours, it had been by over 275,000 people.

“We wish to thank all of the Citizens that joined in, lent us filming venues, and talent. Also to Maddy G TV and Paul Gorman for the professional filming and direction,” the department said via Facebook.

“We hope you enjoy it.”

You can check out the video on the Titusville Police Department Facebook page.
