TITUSVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — For the second time since 2009, Titusville Police Department has seized a suspected methamphetamine lab within the city limits.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. today, officers from the Titusville Police accompanied a representative from Children and Youth Services of Crawford County to an apartment at 130 East Spruce Street to stand-by while CYS conducted a home visit. During that visit, while securing the house, Titusville officers observed what they believed to be meth manufacturing utilizing the one-pot or “shake and bake” method being conducted in the apartment.

All individuals were removed from the residence, and it was secured until a search warrant could be obtained. At that time, the Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Lab Response Team (CLRT) was requested to respond to the scene to collect evidence and secure any toxic substances.
