WARREN COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — A 19-year-old woman was killed when a golf cart collided with a deer and a parked pickup truck early Sunday morning in Spring Creek Township, Warren County.

According to Warren-based State Police, the crash happened around 3:00 a.m. on Old Route 77 just east of Picidilli Hill Road.

Police said an E-Z-Go Sportsman golf cart operated by Timothy J. Doerfer, 24, of Corry, was traveling east on Old Route 77 when it collided with a deer. Doerfer was unable to maintain control of the vehicle and it subsequently struck a parked 1997 Dodge Dakota.

Doerfer was transported to Corry Memorial Hospital for treatment of suspected serious injuries.

Corry Ambulance assisted at the scene.

There is no word on Doerfer’s current condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
