CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – A Titusville woman has pleaded guilty in the murder of 32-year-old Andre Dupis last August.

26-year-old Melanie Ray, of Titusville, entered a plea of guilty to the charge of second-degree murder of Dupis.

According to reports, the murder occurred about 50 miles southwest of Philadelphia when Ray and her boyfriend, 20-year-old Chandler Clark, confronted Dupuis with a handgun and Clark shot him in the back and neck.

Authorities say Ray planned the murder.

Clark pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and robbery of a motor vehicle and is serving a life sentence plus 10 to 20 years.

Ray faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Ray, who had been housed in Chester County Prison, will be moved to a state correctional facility for women.
