Tornado Rips Roof Off Warren County Home

Warren County TornadoWARREN CO., Pa. (EYT) – A tornado touched down near Youngsville, Warren County, on Thursday night.

Warren County 911 Director Todd Lake told exploreClarion.com, the tornado ripped a roof off a two-story home, frightening the family inside.

No one was injured.

Lake also reported that neighbors up the hill from that house had some damage done to a barn and a rabbit hutch also became airborne. The rabbits were unharmed.

The tornado, which covered about one-third of a mile, hit north of Titusville in the Matthews Run Road area.

According to Lake, dispatchers at the 911 Center could see the tornado.

It also knocked trees down and two electric poles.

Lake said the tornado was rated a F0, which indicates winds were between 65 and 85 miles per hour.
