PennDOT reports there will be traffic pattern changes this week on Interstate 80 in Clarion County.

A barrier is being installed on the bridges over Route 338 for bridge dam repairs.

The contractor will begin eastbound and then work on the westbound bridges.

Lane restrictions remain in place on I-80 Eastbound between Exits 45 and 60 for roadway repairs.

Work on the project consists of concrete patching, milling, and paving, as well as bridge dam repairs.

Congestion and delays are possible, especially in peak travel periods.

Drivers need to remain alert and slow down while driving through work zones.

Drivers are asked to take their turn merging and drive responsibly for their safety and the safety of the workers.

Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., of DuBois, is the prime contractor on the $25.7 million preventative maintenance project.

The project is expected to be completed in November of 2015.
