TIONESTA TWP., Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation yesterday urged motorists to be alert to changing traffic patterns beginning on Thursday in the work area for the Hunter Station Bridge replacement project on Route 62 over the Allegheny River in Tionesta Township, Forest County.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane and controlled by temporary signals in the project area on Route 62 between the Venango/Forest County line and Hunter Station Road in Tionesta Township.

Work on the bridge replacement project started in September 2016, and the project is expected to be completed by March 28, 2018.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
