Traffic Restrictions, Paving Planned for Atlantic Avenue in Franklin

OIL CITY, Pa. – Atlantic Avenue (Route 4004) in the city of Franklin, Venango County will be closed to through traffic during the day on October 9, 10, and 11, 2019.

Access to homes and businesses along the street will be maintained. Motorists are encouraged to take other routes whenever possible.

The restrictions are necessary so that paving can be completed, weather permitting.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
