Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest in Scrubgrass Township

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A drug arrest was made on Friday afternoon on Interstate 80 East, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

Clarion-based State Police say around 5:49 p.m. on April 13, a traffic stop for equipment violations was conducted on a black Kia sedan on I-80 eastbound near mile marker 39, in Scrubgrass Township.

A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the discovery and seizure of marijuana and related paraphernalia.

The suspect is 19-year-old Shelby Mavon of New Castle, Delaware.
