Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges Against Three Area Residents

SALEM TWP, Pa. (EYT) — Drug charges were filed today against three area residents in connection with a July 13 traffic stop in Salem Township, Clarion County.

According to Clarion-based State Police, Victoria Lynn Newbill, 22, of Emlenton, Brendan Edward Golden, 24, of St. Petersburg, and Bryce William Dittman, 18, of Emlenton, were arrested for various drug offenses around 10 p.m., Thursday, July 13, after a traffic stop on Route 208.

Newbill faces the most serious charges, including two felonies for possession of phenylpropanolamine (or a precursor) and manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver. She also was charged three misdemeanors for having a small amount of marijuana for personal use and drug paraphernalia.

Dittman was charged with two misdemeanors for having a small amount of marijuana for personal use and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Golden, who was charged with two misdemeanors for having a small amount of marijuana for personal use and possession of drug paraphernalia, was placed in the Clarion County Jail on a probation violation detainer.

Newbill and Dittman are awaiting arraignment.
