Traffic Stop Leads to DUI Arrest in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — A traffic stop on Seneca Street in Oil City early Sunday morning led to a DUI arrest.

Franklin-based State Police say a traffic stop was made around 2:29 a.m. on Sunday, June 24, on Seneca Street/Memorial Drive in Oil City for a violation of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.

During the traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

DUI and vehicle code charges will be filed upon receiving the results of the blood tests.

The arrestee is a 26-year-old Rouseville woman.

The name of the woman was not released.
