Traffic Stop Leads to Warrant Arrest in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin Police Department say a warrant arrest was made last night near a convenience store on North 13th Street, in Franklin, Venango County.

According to police, 45-year-old Dawn Marie Lewis, of Franklin, was stopped for multiple traffic violations around 11:59 p.m. on February 28,. It was discovered that she had two active bench warrants out for her arrest for failure to respond to prior traffic violations.

After failing to satisfy the collateral on the bench warrants, Lewis was placed under arrest and lodged in the Venango County Jail.
