Traffic Stop Results in Drug Arrest of Oil City Man

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — According to Franklin-based State Police, a drug arrest occurred around 3:30 p.m. on June 30, on Riverside Drive, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Police say 32-year-old Eugene Clarence Johnson, Jr., of Oil City, “was found to be in possession of small amounts of controlled substances while on a traffic stop” at the above described location.

He was arraigned before District Judge Lowrey for violation of Act 64.

Unable to post $5,000.00 monetary bail, Johnson was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

No other information was released.
