Truck Crashes into Car on U.S. 322

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on February 23 in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police say the accident happened around 10:45 a.m. on U.S. Route 322 near its intersection with Cranberry-Rockland Road.

Police say a 2012 Toyota Corolla operated by Arlene L. Palm, 66, of Oil City, was stopped in the westbound lane of U.S. 322 when it was struck by a 2009 International Harvester Paystar operated by James C. Kan, 26, of Lewis Run.

Palm and two passengers — Laura J. Everett, 47, and Kay R. Sporer, 72, both of Cranberry, escaped injury.

Kan also escaped injury.

He was cited for Careless Driving.
