Driver Loses Control of Truck, Crashes on I-80 in Clinton Township

CLINTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police in Franklin say a truck driver lost control and crashed his vehicle early Sunday morning on Interstate 80 eastbound in Clinton Township, Venango County.

According to police, around 3:58 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, a 2001 Freightliner was traveling east on I-80 in the left lane just east of Coal Valley Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the left side of the roadway causing minor damage to the vehicle.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The driver’s name was not released.
