Barrow-Civic Theatre to Host ‘Tunes, Tricks & Treats’ Benefit Concert on Saturday

FRANKLIN, Pa. — Barrow-Civic Theatre will host “Tunes, Tricks & Treats” with an array of local performers on Saturday, October 29, in Franklin, Pa.

The evening will kick off at 7:00 p.m. and will feature Frank Secich, a rock musician, songwriter and record producer and author of Circumstantial Evidence, and many local musicians including Nine in Dog Years, Mitch Littler and Hanna-Williamson-Shick.

Attendees may come dressed in their Halloween best for the costume contest, complete with judges and cash prizes.

Performers

Frank

Frank Secich

Frank Secich is a rock musician and writer who has played in Blue Ash, Stiv Bators and Club Wow and currently plays in the band Deadbeat Poets. Secich plays guitar and bass and hails from Sharon, Pa.

Secich will be signing books and records in the Barrow-Civic lobby during the evening.

Nine Dogs

Nine in Dog Years

Nine in Dog Years is a newly formed band comprised of members Steve Bell (drums), Suzi Beach (lead vocals), Todd Shawgo (keyboard), Bob Shawgo (bass and lead vocals), Neal Williams (guitar), Derek Stewart (percussion), and Dan Grove (acoustic guitar).

The members are all part of separate bands and hope to perform in various venues throughout the area.

Barrow

Mitch Littler

Mitch Littler has recently become a full-time musician after singing for 10 years. The 24-year-old Oil City resident plays in a band with his father and brother called South Side String Kings, which played at the launch of the Venango County Regional Airport.

Littler has performed at the Juke Joint Festival in Mississippi and plays mainly blues music. He performs locally eight to 10 times a month.

Littler most recently competed in Franklin’s Taste of Talent competition and made it to the finals.

Hanna

Hanna-Williamson-Shick featuring Damon Lewis and Lauri Udy

Hanna-Williamson-Shick features Raeman Hanna, Steve Williamson, and Brandon Schick, all on vocals and guitar.

Hanna and Williamson have extensive backgrounds in performing. Both were members of Wolf Crick in the 1980s. Shick, Hanna’s grandson, began playing guitar at age 11 and recently recorded a CD.

Liotta and Beach

Suzi Beach and Joe Liotta with Derek Stewart on drums

Suzi Beach (vocals) and Joe Liotta (guitar) will perform alongside Derek Stewart on percussion. The duo has played various venues around the local area.

Fran and Zach

Zachary Covington and Francis Edge with Mary Brooks on piano

Zachary Covington is a vocalist and manages the Barrow-Civic Theatre.

Francis Edge is a vocalist who has performed previously at the Barrow-Civic Theatre.

Tickets are also available at Hanna Music Supply located at 5359 Pittsburgh Road in Harrisville.

Proceeds will benefit the Barrow-Civic Theatre.
