Two Accused of Shoplifting in Cranberry Township

CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Two individuals are accused of stealing from the Cranberry Township Walmart on three different occasions in May.

Franklin-based State Police filed criminal charges against 25-year-old Latoisha Leigh Collins, of Franklin, and 30-year-old Christopher Schumacher, a resident at Cove Forge Behavioral Health in Williamsburg, Bedford County.

According to police, Schumacher loaded items into a shopping cart, then placed them into a white Walmart bag and took them to Collins. Collins then returned the items at the service desk. She used her identification and signed her name for the returns.

Collins and Schumacher then left with Walmart gift cards for the following amounts on the dates listed:

– May 17, $208.28
– May 25, $214.97
– May 28, $282.08

Charges are being filed in District Court 28-3-04 against both individuals for retail theft, receiving stolen property, and theft by deception.
