Two Area Men Charged Following Traffic Stop

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — A traffic stop led to a drug arrest on Whitmer Road, in Licking Township, Clarion County.

Clarion-based State Police say a traffic violation was observed around 10:24 a.m. on May 5 on Whitmer Road. A traffic stop was initiated, and 21-year-old Levi William Zacherl, of Emlenton, “was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. He was also in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.”

Police say 29-year-old Anthony James Knight, of Knox, was charged with “possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.”
