FOXBURG, Pa. (EYT) – Two auctions will be held this week at the Riverstone Estate Barn in Foxburg.

Books & Paper Ephemera Auction

A “Books & Paper Ephemera Auction” will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at the Riverstone Estate Barn.

The auction will feature a large local collection of ephemera, local documents, die cuts, and trade cards.

Local documents from Foxburg, Parker, Knox, Callensburg, North Washington, West Freedom, East Brady, St. Petersburg, Clarion, and other areas will be auctioned off. The documents are from the 1870s to early 1900s.

Books include ‘Tales from The Presque Ilse by George Angus Belding; ‘True Tales of the Clarion River’ by PA Record Press; ‘Petroleum’ by Rev. S.J.Eaton; ‘The Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes’ by Robert F. Griggs; ‘Through the Brazilian Wilderness’ by Theodore Roosevelt; ‘In the French Creek Valley’ by John Earle Reynolds; and many more book lots.

Antique Auction

An “Antique Auction” will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at the Riverstone Estate Barn.

Auction items include an oak bedroom set, oak rocker, wicker furniture, oak table with two chairs, oak children’s rocker, oak wall mounted hat rack, oak double rocker, and more.

Collectibles include Roseville pottery, quilts, duck decoys, Lucite purse, novelty lamps, eye glasses, pins, boy scouts, NY world’s fair, red cross, future farmers, Lions club, foreign coins, state quarters, perfume bottles, milk bottles, soda bottles, and more.

The auction will also feature Fran Kamb oil paintings, a Charles Colombo print, a Duck head apparel print, and oil on canvas of Brigham Young’s Family by Wm. Major.

There will also be a large collection of buttons, costume jewelry, vintage clothing, hats and hat boxes, and leather leggins.

Cash and checks with a photo ID will be accepted.

The auction will be held indoors. Those attending are asked to bring a chair.

Both auctions will be held at the Riverstone Estate Barn, located at 615 Riverstone Lane, Foxburg, Pa.
