Two Escape Injuries in Scrubgrass Township Crash

SCRUBGRASS TWP.,  Pa. (EYT) – A deer caused a wreck on Interstate 80 Sunday evening in Scrubgrass Township.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 5:49 p.m. on November 12, Gregory Janetta, 49, of Sagamore Hills, Ohio, was driving a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on I-80 when he hit a deer in the right lane at mile marker 39.

Janetta and a passenger in the Jeep, Lauren Baker, 35, of Seven Hills, Ohio, were not injured. Both were using seat belts.

Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Hovis Towing removed the Jeep from the scene.
