Two Face DUI Charges Following Roving Patrol in Area

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Two Venango County residents are facing driving under the influence charges after the Venango County DUI Task Force conducted a roving patrol on Friday, February 3.

According to the Franklin Police Department, Emily Cooley, 36, of Franklin, and Jason Lineman, 28, of Oil City, were caught in the patrol that had 44 traffic stops and included eight citations and 36 warnings.

Cooley was stopped in the 500 block of Liberty Street in Franklin for a traffic violation.

She was found to be under the influence and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and also under the influence of a controlled substance.

Cooley was processed and released.

Lineman was stopped in the 900 block of Rocky Grove Avenue in Sugarcreek for a traffic violation.

He was found to be under the influence and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and also under the influence of a controlled substance.

Lineman was processed and released.

Officers from the Franklin Police Department, Sugarcreek Borough Police Department, Polk Borough Police Department, and the Venango County Sheriff’s Department participated in this effort.
