Two from Oil City Suffer Injuries in Cornplanter Township Crash

ambulance-blurryCORNPLANTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to Franklin-based State Police, two Oil City residents were injured in a one-car crash that occurred yesterday along Grandview Road in Cornplanter Township.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 11:30 p.m., Kelly A. Brown, 47, of Oil City, was traveling south on Grandview Road. Her vehicle had just exited a right turn when it started to slide on the wet road.

The 2007 Ford 500 then went off the right side of the roadway where it struck a natural gas pipeline marker and then a tree.

The vehicle came to a final rest off the right side of the roadway.

Brown and a passenger – Jarrod R. Brown, 28, also of Oil City – both reportedly suffered suspected minor injuries and were taken to UPMC Northwest Seneca.

Kelly Brown was wearing a seat belt during the accident. Jarrod Brown was not.

Kelly Brown was charged with a traffic violation.
