Two Hospitalized in Route 322 Crash

CANAL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT)– Franklin-based State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident around 4:05 p.m. along SR-322 in Canal Township, Venango County.

According to state police, James G. Resig, 29, of Meadville, was in the westbound lane of Route 322 in a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado, which had stopped behind several vehicles attempting to turn from the roadway.

Police say Anna M. Crystaloski, 54, of Hartstown, failed to see the stopped vehicles and slammed her 2005 Crysler Town & Country minivan into the rear of Resig’s truck.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and both required medical transport from the scene by Community Ambulance Service.

Police did not indicate the severity and type of injuries.

Utica VFD also assisted at the scene.

Crystaloski was cited for Following Too Closely.
