Two Injured in Alcohol-related Crash

FARMINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State police say a 39-year-old Tionesta man was arrested on DUI charges following an alcohol-related crash in Farmington Township, Clarion County early this morning.

According to state police in Marienville, the accident took place on Saturday around 12:50 a.m. when a 39-year-old Tionesta man lost control of his 2001 Dodge Durango while traveling on SR-36, just south of Miola Road.

Police said the vehicle subsequently exited the roadway and crashed into several trees.

The driver, who was arrested on DUI charges, sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

A 24-year-old male passenger also sustained moderate injuries.

Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Company/Fire Police and Clarion Hospital Ambulance assisted at the scene.
