Two Men Charged Following Domestic Dispute in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Two men were charged after a domestic incident in the city of Oil City.

According to court documents, the Oil City Police Department filed criminal charges against 25-year-old Brandon John Groner, of Titusville, and 28-year-old Jeffrey Scott Fleeger, of Oil City.

According to the criminal complaint, around 3:48 a.m. on Sunday, August 27, Oil City police officers responded to a domestic dispute at a property located at 110 East Sixth Street.

While on the scene, the officers witnessed a domestic dispute become physical between Groner and Fleeger.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Groner at 8:30 a.m. on October 4 in Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office, He was issued a certified summons.

He faces Simple Assault charges, a third-degree misdemeanor.

Fleeger faces a hearing at 9:00 a.m. on October 2 in Judge Fish’s office on the following charges:

– Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary
– Disorderly Conduct-Unreasonable Noise, Summary

A certified summons was issued.

Court documents indicate the status of Fleeger’s case is awaiting a plea.
