Two Oil City Residents Face Multiple Drug Charges Following Search of House

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — Two Oil City residents are facing multiple charges after a search of their residence on West Sixth Street uncovered drugs and drug paraphernalia.

According to a criminal complaint, around 1:26 p.m. on February 24, Chief Wenner and Patrolmen Ruditis and Culp, of the Oil City Police Department, and Agent See, of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, arrived at 116 West Sixth Street, in Oil City — the address of 32-year-old Stacy Ray Dunkle.

Contact was made with 21-year-old Mary Lou Sneltzer, a resident of the house. Agent See began a search of the residence for any firearms or any type or paraphernalia — per the rules of Probation and Parole, the complaint states.

A search of the basement area revealed a large clear bag of suspected marijuana — indicative of possession with intent to deliver — and other types of paraphernalia, the complaint continues.

Subsequently, a search warrant was served on the residence, and the following items were found:

– A large bag of marijuana;
– Multiple small bags containing a small amount or residue of suspected marijuana;
– Multiple glass pipes;
– Plastic straws with residue;
– A bag containing suspected methamphetamine; and
– A fully loaded black Hi-Point .45 ACP handgun.

A search warrant was also served on a black Mercury Mountaineer belonging to Dunkle, and the following items were discovered:

– A black and silver 9mm Hi-Point carbine rifle, and
– Miscellaneous ammunition for a .45 and 9mm caliber firearms.

Dunkle and Sneltzer were arraigned at 6:15 p.m. on February 24 in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish.

The following charges were filed against Dunkle:

– Conspiracy — Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Possession Of Firearm Prohibited, Felony 2 (two counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

Unable to post $150,000.00 monetary bail, Dunkle was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

Sneltzer faces the following charges:

– Conspiracy — Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered -Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

She was placed in the Venango County Jail after failing to pay $50,000.00 monetary bail.

Preliminary hearings are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on March 1 with Judge Fish presiding.
