Two Rushed to UPMC Northwest Following Sugarcreek Borough Rollover Crash

SUGARCREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Two people were transported by ambulance following a rollover crash that occurred in Sugarcreek Borough on Sunday evening.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 7:37 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, Kelley S. Osborn, 45, of Clintonville, was operating a 2016 Hyundai Accent, traveling downhill on Second Avenue toward Grant Street.

Police say Osborn was unable to control her vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. She tried to pull into a driveway while going down the hill in an attempt to stop the vehicle, but missed the driveway and traveled over the embankment. The vehicle rolled down the embankment and then landed on its roof on Second Avenue.

Osborn and her passenger, James P. Osborn, 55, of Clintonville, were both wearing seatbelts.

Kelley Osborn was transported to UPMC Northwest by Community Ambulance Service for treatment of suspected minor injuries.

James Osborn was transported to UPMC Northwest by Community Ambulance Service for treatment of injuries of an unknown severity.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Lowry’s Towing.

Osborn was cited for a tire equipment violation.

Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
