GREEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say around 1:11 a.m. on April 27, an incident of Criminal Homicide occurred at a private residence along Holly Acres Road, in Tionesta, Green Township, Forest County.

Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville responded to the residence of 42-year-old Marcelle I. Edwards for the report of a male brandishing a knife.

Upon arrival, Troopers observed the body of 43-year-old Donald Louis Shay, of Leechburg, on the front porch area.

After entering the residence, Edwards was found deceased on the kitchen floor, according to police.

During the course of the investigation, 38-year-old Scott Allan Black, of Butler, was located later in the morning along German Hill Road and taken into custody, police say.

Ms. Edwards was previously in a relationship with Black, according to Wimer.

He faces two counts each of Criminal Homicide and Aggravated Assault.
