CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 3:42 p.m. on November 21, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Quaker Drive, at its intersection with State Route 257, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, Kevin A. Hitchcock, of Hanoverton, OH, and Hiromi Knox, of Oil City, were involved in the collision.

Police say this crash occurred as a 2007 Peterbilt, operated by Hitchcock, was too far out in the intersection and started to back up. The vehicle then crashed into a 2008 Subaru Forester, operated by Knox, causing damage to the front end of the Subaru.

Both drivers were using seat belts and no injuries were reported at the scene.
