CRANBERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A two-vehicle crash occurred on Route 322, east of Salina Road, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police say around 8:49 a.m. on November 7, a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 was stopped along US 322 in the westbound lane behind a line of traffic.

A 2005 Hyundai Elantra was also traveling along Route 322 in the westbound lane. The driver of the Hyundai saw that the Dodge Ram was stopped and attempted to stop his vehicle but was unsuccessful. The Hyundai struck the Dodge, according to police.

Both drivers were using seat belts and were not injured.

The driver of the Hyundai was charged with a traffic violation.

State police did not release the names of the drivers.
