OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a two-vehicle crash occurred around 8:29 a.m. on January 24, in Oakland Township, Venango County.

According to police, the collision involved Thomas E. Cramer, 28, of Rouseville, and Lori J. Weller, 55, of Oil City.

Police say Cramer was driving south on Beach Road in a manner which caused him to lose control of his 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier on the icy roadway.

The right rear bumper of Cramer’s Cavalier struck the left front panel of Weller’s 2005 Chevrolet Malibu as she was traveling north on Beach Road, according to police.

Police say the crash resulted in minor damage to both vehicles.

Weller’s Malibu sustained a bent front left wheel and was not able to be driven from the scene.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured in the crash.

Cramer was cited with a traffic violation.
