CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on Greenville Pike, in Clarion Township.

According to police, 20-year-old Ashantae M. Hearst, of Seneca, and 55-year-old Edward W. Auerbeck, of Clarion, were involved in the collision.

The crash occurred around 3:20 p.m. on March 14 as Hearst’s 2006 Mazda was traveling west on Stonehouse Road.

The Mazda was at the stop sign and a 2016 Peterbilt truck, driven by Auerbeck, was traveling north on Greenville Pike in the northbound lane. Hearst pulled into the Peterbilt’s path and was struck on the driver’s side.

Both drivers and a passenger in Hearst’s car — 23-year-old Adam B. Rhoades, of Franklin — were using seat belts and were not injured.

The car was towed from the scene by Leadbetter’s Towing.

Hearst was charged with a traffic violation.
